How To Sleep (For Insomniacs)

Sean Illing of Vox.com recently interviewed science writer Henry Nicholls about his new book, Sleepyhead: The Neuroscience of a Good Night's Rest. The book sounds fascinating, but there's a lot of useful information to be found in the interview itself.

Nicholls talks about "sleep stability" as a key factor in combating insomnia and getting refreshing, restorative sleep. For those of us (me!) who have trouble sleeping, or keeping a regular sleep schedule, Nicholls goes beyond the conventional wisdom of sleep clinics and self-help to dig deep into the neuroscience and endocrinology of sleep.
